Pikea is an association of people dedicated to sustainable woodland management, green crafts, and sharing the skills and resources to do this. We are based in Powys, Mid Wales and run courses and workshops in Wales, the Midlands and occasionally with our friends in Normandy. We have workshops at Llanfyllin Workhouse, a ground breaking community project in a community owned and rennovated Victorian Workhouse.
We work with project partners Sector39 to develop our courses, work with volunteers and media partners 39internet, webservice providers to green and ethical buisnesses and projects.

We work to permaculture ethics and principles and are comitted to working for a sustainable, diverse, co-operative world working in partnership with people and nature.
We are open to working with anyone working with similar ethics and we take great pride in our work. As much as we make things and manage woodlands, we believe in working with people and empowering them to achieve their full potential.
As well as our courses and products w are interested in woodland management and housing co-operatives and are interested in raising funds and investment to bring more land under community and co-operative management.
