Churnet Valley
- Introduction to working with green wood and handtools.
- Experience steam bending, learn how to use and maintain handtools such as a draw knife and spokshave, brace and bits, chisel, plane and more
- Split and join green wood, wood rivet and burning mortice. Use a traditional shaving horse and other traditional wood craft tools.
- Select and prepare green poles and all around experience of the skills and tools used in green wood work.
- Opportunity to make and keep your own Yurt wheel
- Learn all the skills required to finish it
- Full detailed instructions and on going support to complete your own low impact structure
